Denied Landscape Series - The History; Melbourne
Following the launch of The History in Collingwood last Friday night,
Thomas's work is now on view and available in Melbourne.
A collection of 30 works in the 'Denied Landscape' series ranges from small
original works on paper, through to large scale canvases, alongside
sculptures in cast bronze and steel and plaster.
The series illustrates Thomas's meditations on the natural environment, and
man's impact on it, expressed in various mediums.

'We Remember Them 14/11/2015
The 11th of November was a special day unveiling the Veterans War Memorial
that I've been building over the past 4 months.
So here's to our Veterans here in the Southern Highlands, Australia and across the world.
"burnt" in progress
Thomas was commissioned by Chef Michael Moore for his Sydney restaurant O Bar Dining. The brief was to create a feature sculpture for the reception area that added drama and reflected the use of heat and charcoal cooking in the kitchen. Thomas created a work based on his ongoing 'Relic' series of metal plated reclaimed wood - this time contrasting copper plating and charcoal.

The final elements now complete for the Moss Vale War Veterans Memorial which will be unveiled on Remembrance Day,
November 11th, 2015.
Thomas was picked to design the Mossvale NSW Memorial Aquatic Centre Commemorative Memorial in June 2015
Iam So proud and honored to announce that I’m the Winner of the Moss Vale War Memorial Competition!!!
My proposed concept for the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre Commemorative Mural is to create a vibrant, bold sculptural memorial within a very active community space. The work is self titled ‘WE REMEMBER THEM’. It will be a sculptural collage of elements that metaphorically represent the lives of the men and women who served, the area they lived in; while relating to the community who actively use the building
Shown here is my preliminary initial concept sketch, elevation and architectural rendering of the proposed work.
The work will be installed and dedicated on Remembrance Day, November 11th 2015.
The project is being funded under the Australian Government’s Anzac Centenary Local Grants Program with the support of the Arts and Culture Committee of Wingecarribee Shire Council.
